Vacations and nice places to go to

Last time I was in Angers I was in 2007 and I was there with Gilda. We went to see Gilda's dear friend Florence. Now almost 3 years have gone by and I wanted to go to Normandy for D-Day remembrance. I wrote my dear friend Florence and asked her if it was okay that I came over to her place for a day or two as I had not seen her since Gilda's funeral. At that occasion we weren't able to speak much and now 5 months on I felt like seeing her again. I guess she felt the same way as she agreed that I could stay at her place for some time. She had to work so we would be together just the evenings. However, Florence and I had so much to talk about, that finally I stayed all week. This gave me the chance to revisit Angers and make some wonderful walks down-town and also make some pictures.

The evenings with Florence did me a world of good as we sat and talked about our love for Gilda and how we lived that loss. We also talked about her passed life and how she lives no and my passed life and how I live now and how I have to live a new life. This stay gave me the wonderful chance to deepen my friendship with her and I feel I know her much better now and I understand even more why Gilda loved her so much.

For those who haven't been to Angers I recommend a visit highly. This city has some wonderful historical places like the Chateau D'Angers, Cathedral of Saint-Maurice and Maison d'Adam. See Wikipedia
