Dale Watson European tour November 2006
Most fans of Dale Watson know it already. Dale and the lone Stars well be back in Holland as a part of their European tour in November,
They will start 8 November 2006 in Oldenzaal at the Cobblestone Club.
Of course we already booked our places at New Land in Klaaswaal. I just love being there to see Dale perform. It also was the club were I saw Dale Watson for the first time back in 2003.

Los Lobos August 18 2006 Paradiso Amsterdam
Los Lobos at Paradiso AmsterdamEverybody knows La Bamba. Many know it was as song of Los Lobos. Fewer know other songs of Los Lobos, but there were enough people to fill Paradiso on 18th August.
Many oldies and some new songs from their last album The town and the city.
It was not so much a performance but more like creating a huge party
But the main event still seems to be Los Lobos playing La Bamba and inviting many girls to dance on stage.
It was a wonderful evening even with the poor sound of a poor installation.
So if Los Lobos is near your town be sure to go out and see them.

Jackson Browne in Amsterdam 12 August 2006
For the 12th of August I was lucky enough to get a ticket for the unique Jackson Browne concert in Amsterdam at the Heineken Music Hall.
I have been listening to Jackson Browne's music since late 1970 's. I first heard him on "No Nukues" and then I bought Running on Empty. This concert was the first concert of him that I visited and I must say it was a wonderful experience.
Guess I'll be on his next concert that he will give in Holland.

I got the surprise of my life when my daughter phoned me asking me if I wanted to see the Stones in concert. It just so happend that she had got us two tickets for this unique concert in Holland. origanly they were to give two shows. But we now all know that Keith Richard is not an excelent tree climber......
Well I can tell you folks this was a wonderfull concert. Not the angry young men they used to be and without my favorit Bill Wyman.

I was one of the many thousends of people going nuts during this concert and although I beleive a soccer stade is to watch soccer and not a band, it was quite impressive.
